Men's Retreat
Sometimes it can be easy to forget what God does for us. Come to Men's Retreat at Maranatha Bible Camp to remember.
In Joshua 3-4, we read about how God helped the Israelites cross the Jordan River. Once they had crossed, they set up 12 stones as a monument to help them remember what God had done for them there.
It's easy for men to forget that God has a great purpose for their lives. Distractions such as pornography have tainted what it means to be a man in today's world. God calls men to be leaders and to live lives of integrity. God calls men to be "Men of Stone."
The theme for the weekend is "Men of Stone," and though pushing around giant boulders and setting up stone monuments may not be on the agenda, you can still be sure that you'll experience two days of change that you won't forget. You'll have the opportunity to meet and fellowship with other men, as well as enjoy activies such as an indoor driving range, clayshooting*, climbing wall, and ice fishing (weather permitting). You'll get to hear God's word spoken through three great speakers, and you'll have the opporunity to participate in workshops to focus on more specific challenges.
Are you ready to be a Man of Stone? Registration begins on Friday, February 17th at 5:00 PM. Supper will be served at 6:30. We'd hope to see you there!
*Clayshooting is an extra $10 per round. A round is 25 clay.
