Sporting Clays Fun Shoots

Come out to Maranatha and join us for our sporting clays fun shoots. Our shooting course has been rated by some as one of the best in the State of Nebraska! You're sure to have a great time and meet others who share a passion for shooting. The Sporting Clays - trap - skeet Range has primarily come about from the vision and generosity of Dean Ostrander plus a team of hardworking volunteers including men such as Terry Jensen, Lyle Gronewald and a host of others. Many travel down from Custer County to help set up and run the range on the days it is open.

The range has a good deal of infrastructure which runs along the creek and small meadows. However the equipment is set up before each event and taken down the same day by the team.

Several sanctioned shoots take place each year on the Powder Creek Sports range which is part of Maranatha Camp. The net profit after expenses goes to the general fund of Maranatha to help maintain the youth camp ministry.
