Fun, fellowship, financial help highlight annual fundraiser for the Camp Scholarship Fund

One of our growing traditions, the 12th annual Curt Lehman Golf Classic, is coming up and we encourage you to prayerfully consider being a part of it.

Sponsored by the Maranatha Foundation, the event is held annually the first Monday after Labor Day. It is designed to raise money for the Maranatha Bible Camp Scholarship Fund, which year after year, allows children, youth and adults who could not otherwise afford the full cost to come to Maranatha to take part in a life-changing week of camp. It' "No Child Left Behind," Maranatha-style.

Golfers are placed on four-man teams, each with its own captain. Each person is entrusted with the task of raising at least $500 for the Scholarship Fund. We ask that you turn in your money on or before September 8, when we will gather at the beautiful Bayside Golf Course near Lake McConaughy, Ogallala, Nebraska.

More informaton is available by downloading our Golf Classic brochure and a golfer invitation letter. We hope to see you there!

If you have questions, call Event Chairman Mark Schafer at 308-530-2834 or Foundation Executive Director George Cheek at 308-520-4395 or 308-582-4513 ext. 114.
